Patsy C. Singer, 78, of Howard, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.
Born on July 21, 1945 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Dorothy (Hevner) McCloskey.
On July 27, 1963, she married her loving husband, Richard Singer, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2021.
Patsy enjoyed gardening, playing Hearts and Bingo, decorating for the holidays and playing fetch with her beloved dog, Scotty. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren.
Patsy worked for Sam's Club as a food demonstrator for 30 years. The bonds she made and the lives she impacted there were many.
She is survived by a son, Richard Singer, Jr. (Barby); a daughter, Sheila St. Clair (Jeff); her granddaughter, Shannon Singer (Jeff Greene), and their daughter, Jaelynn Greene; and her granddaughter, Madison Rockey (Garret Greene); a sister, Peg Dehart (Clarence), and her dog, Scotty.
Family and friends will be received for a visitation from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home in Howard.
A funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Titus Stracener officiating. Interment will take place at Schenck's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patsy's name may be made to Pets Come First or to the Howard Fire Company.
