It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Richard Gerald Crust, 63, of Monument.
Richard was born April 16, 1960 in Howard, Pa., to Gerald and Sarah Davy Crust.
Richard was a 1979 graduate of Bellefonte High School. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping.
On Nov. 22, 1997, he married the love of his life, the former Belinda McCloskey, who survives at home. Together they loved to travel, having been to 35 states and three countries.
Richard was employed by Bull Rogers Casing in Hobbs, N.M., until he became disabled and then settled back home in Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, Richard was proceeded in death by two brothers, John and George Crust.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Gerald Crust and Shawn Crust, both of Lock Haven, and Zachery Crust, of Monument; three daughters, April Cother, of Phoenix, Ariz., Samantha Crust, of Lock Haven, and Skyler Crust, of Monument; five grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Crust (Missy), of Spring Mills, Glen Crust, of Coudersport, and Scott Crust (Pennie), of Mill Hall; and a sister, Katheryn Goodman (Jess), of State College.
Also surviving is his favorite, pain-in-the-ass sister-in-law, Laura Mayes, of Monument; and very special lifelong partners in crime, Jamie Kitner, of Mill Hall, and Chad Kitner, of Williamsport; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; and five God-children.
Family and friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home in Howard.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the funeral home.
