Ruth Ann (Harm) Munro

RUTH MUNRO

Ruth Ann (Harm) Munro, 81, a former resident of E. Church St., Lock Haven, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at Lock Haven Rehab and Senior Living.

Born March 15, 1942 in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Vincent M. and Mary M. (Adams) Harm.

Ruth Ann was married on May 26, 1961 in Lock Haven to Robert R. Munro. They celebrated 49 years of marriage together until his death on Oct. 29, 2010.

She was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and loved her church family.

Ruth Ann graduated from State College High School in 1960.

She enjoyed coloring and playing the saxophone.

Surviving are two twin sons, Pastor Parrish V. Munro, Sr., of Mifflintown, and David C. (Debra) Munro, of Lock Haven; a daughter, Kimberly K. (Michael) Munro, of Rochester, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Trich Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor Rick Conklin officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received from 12:30-1 p.m.

Interment will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
