Alda R. (Brungard) Held, 93, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at Susque View Home. She was the wife of the late Leo A. Held.
Born Feb. 6, 1931 in Sugar Valley; a daughter of the late Merle and Edna (Lehman) Brungard, she retired from West Company Pharmaceuticals. Mrs. Held was a member of St. John (Boonville) Lutheran Church and was active with Sugar Valley Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years. She enjoyed crafting and playing cards.
Mrs. Held is survived by two sons, Larry E. and wife Mary Held of Mill Hall and Gerald A. and wife Nancy Held of Loganton; a daughter-in-law, Karen Held of Loganton; seven grandchildren, Jim Held, Amy Jelkmann, Traci Miller, Corey Welch, Ashley Held, Courtney Kunes and Joshua Reeder; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; and a twin sister, Alma Seyler of Loganton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Reeder and a son, Curt Held.
Tribute Services will be private with burial in Fairview Evangelical Cemetery, Loganton. Helt Funeral Chapel, Inc., 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall is in charge of arrangements.
