Judith E. ‘Judi’ (Francis) Butler

Judith E. "Judi" (Francis) Butler, 78, formerly of Muncy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, with her daughters by her side.

Born on May 23, 1945 to Warren G. and Dorothy L. Cowher Francis, Judi was a 1963 graduate of Bucktail Area High School.

Judi was married to her loving husband, Thomas A. Butler, who passed away in 2004.

Judi worked as a district manager for the Family Dollar for 38 years. She later worked at Community Resources for Independence in McConnellsburg, Pa., as a caregiver.

Surviving are her son, Scott Probst; and daughters, Cindy Brungard and Amy Probst; five grandchildren, Jason, Brooke, Anthony, Erin and Nicole; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel, Devin, Regan, Grayson, Hayes, Daniel, Jr., and Aella; a great-great grandson, Na'Lij; three brothers, Jesse Francis, Jeff Francis (Trish) and Jerry Francis (Teresa); a sister-in-law, Sandy Francis; a brother-in-law, Roger Laubscher; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents and husband, Judi was predeceased by her youngest daughter, Elizabeth Ann Flynn; a sister, Janice Laubscher; a brother, John Francis; a sister-in-law, Joanne Francis; and her son-in-law, Carl Brungard, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lock Haven on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Judi will be laid to rest at Muncy Cemetery with her husband and daughter at the family's convenience.
