BORING -- Mary F. Boring, of Jersey Shore, died April 29, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 120 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore. Interment will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
STRECK -- Earl Henry Streck, Jr., of Mill Hall, died May 1, 2024. Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Singer-Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m.
BICKEL -- Shuman Boyd Bickel, 87, of Avis, died April 29, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral chapel. The committal will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, with full military honors by the United States Air Force.
ZAKEM -- Beatrice Anna "Gloria" Zakem, 94, formerly of Mill Hall, died Dec. 5, 2023. A memorial service is being held on May 16 at 11 a.m. at the Alto Reste Chapel, 109 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, Pa. A funeral luncheon will follow the service.
SHIPMAN -- Steve Shipman, 64, of Mill Hall, died March 13, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall.
MUSSER -- John Risser Musser, 82, of Fort Myers, Fla., died March 15, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 11 a.m., in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
MYERS -- Clair E. Myers, 62, of Jersey Shore, died March 20, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at his home.
ANDERSON -- Betty (Hamm) Anderson, 77, of Lititz, Pa., died Dec. 31, 2023. A memorial service is being planned at the Lock Haven Salvation Army and will be announced once details are finalized. (wwwsnyderfuneralhome.com)
