BICKEL -- Shuman Boyd Bickel, 87, of Avis, died April 29, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral chapel. The committal will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, with full military honors by the United States Air Force.
DETWILER -- Susan M. Detwiler, 78, of Lock Haven, died May 6, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, at 12 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the service begins at noon.
ZAKEM -- Beatrice Anna "Gloria" Zakem, 94, formerly of Mill Hall, died Dec. 5, 2023. A memorial service is being held on May 16 at 11 a.m. at the Alto Reste Chapel, 109 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, Pa. A funeral luncheon will follow the service.
KNARR -- Cintra Ann (Stouck) Knarr, 80, of Lock Haven, died Feb. 23, 2024. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass in her honor at St. Luke R.C. Church, 118 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore, Pa., on Thursday, May 16, 2024, beginning at 11 a.m.
McCARTNEY -- Erik G. McCartney, 44, died May 2, 2024 from car accident injuries. A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Friday, May 17, at 3 p.m., at Family Life of Penns Valley, 108 Ridge Road, Centre Hall, Pa.
SHIPMAN -- Steve Shipman, 64, of Mill Hall, died March 13, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall.
MUSSER -- John Risser Musser, 82, of Fort Myers, Fla., died March 15, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 11 a.m., in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
MYERS -- Clair E. Myers, 62, of Jersey Shore, died March 20, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at his home.
