Paul D. Lowe, 82, of Rockville, Md., formerly of Lock Haven, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Shady Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rockville, Md.
Born in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Paul D. and Dorothy Blesh Lowe.
He was a 1959 graduate of Lock Haven High School, and graduated in 1964 from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Journalism.
Paul first worked for the Allentown Morning Call and eventually as Head of the Washington office of Aviation International News in his two favorite areas of Journalism and Aviation.
He was a licensed pilot and an avid fan of Penn State, NASCAR, Corvettes and all things in aviation.
Surviving Paul are two brothers, Dennis (Gail) Lowe, of Yardley, Pa., and Jeffrey (Marty) Lowe, of Wauconda, Ill.; three nieces, Staci (Steven) Northrup, of New Hope, Jodi Lowe, of Yardley, and Allison (Adam) Kanyuh, of Streamwood, Ill.; and a nephew, Steven (Jennifer) Lowe, of Vernon Hills, Ill.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Linda.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Dunnstown Cemetery.
