Peggy F. Boring, 63, of Unionville, passed away at her home after a brief illness on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
Born on Nov. 4, 1960 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Gloria (Pardoe) Gardner.
On June 20, 1992 in Milesburg, she married Daniel L. Boring, Sr., who survives at home.
Peggy was a 1978 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School.
She was the Office Manager for Custom Stone Interior for many years. She attended the Brookside Wesleyan Church.
Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to flea markets.
She was a life member of the Citizens Hook and Ladder Fire Company in Milesburg and was a member of the Pleasant Gap American Legion Auxiliary.
Peggy is survived by her husband; a son, Andrew J. Boring, and his wife, Amy, of Patton; two daughters, Jo A. Moyer-Christian, and her husband, Brooke, of Milesburg, and Synannda Michny, and her husband, Paul, of Starford; and by a daughter-in-law, Angel Boring, of Cherry Tree. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, Malachi, Gavin, Natalie, Jack, Cameron, Daniel L. III, Saige, Zaila, Sam, Evaleen, Orlando (LJ), Leighana, Jaylynn, Andrew Jr. and Robert; four brothers, James C. Gardner, and his wife, Chris, of Allensville, Raymond Gardner and his wife, Cheryl, of Bellefonte, David Gardner, and his wife, LuAnn, of Sanford, N.C., and Charles Gardner, of Tyrone.
Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by a son, Daniel L. Boring, Jr.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 19, from 2-4 p.m., at the J. K. Yearick Center in Howard, with a short service at 4 p.m. officiated by Pastor Bo King.
