Robert "Jim" Baker, Sr., passed away on May 9, 2024.
Robert passed away after a brief battle with cancer. He was diagnosed while visiting his son in Cincinnati and was surrounded by family at the end of his life.
He was born on Nov. 3, 1939. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
Robert was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his former wife of 51 years, Barbara Baker; his sister, Donna Lesniak; his son, Robert Baker, Jr., and wife Lisa; and three grandchildren, Adam, Sydney and Justin Baker. He delighted in their laughter, celebrated their achievements and was so proud of the adults they had become.
Robert Baker, Sr. will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was always quick with a joke or dig, especially while playing cards with friends or family. His legacy will live on through the stories shared by family and friends.
