Lester E. ‘Butch’ Berry, III

Lester E. “Butch” Berry, III, 75, of Mill Hall, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Lock Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born Nov. 26, 1948 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Lester E. and Marjorie Smith Berry, Jr.

On Feb. 15, 1969, Butch married the former Bonnie K. Allen, who survives.

He retired from Toftree’s Resort, State College, after many years of service in their maintenance department.

Butch found his greatest joy in hunting, fishing and camping, especially his fishing trips to New York and Canada.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Candy (Corey) Miller, of Flemington, and Duane Berry, of Lock Haven; two sisters, Diane (Pete) Kautz and Mary (John) Scott; three grandchildren, Nathan Berry, Courtney Miller and Mikaela White; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved grand-puppy, Trixie.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Berry.

Per Butch’s wishes, no services will be held.
