Mary L. Huling, 83, of Jersey Shore, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 9, 1941 in Oriole, she was the daughter to the late Marvin D. Lehman and the former Jeanne E. Laubach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Huling on Jan. 19, 2005, they were united in marriage on Oct. 24, 1958; and three sisters, Janet, Shirley and Marlene.
For many years Mary was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She retired from Alta Products. Mary loved being a homemaker, cooking, socializing with her friends, but her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by four sons, Marvin R. (Brenda) Huling, of Jersey Shore, Douglas W. (Michele) Huling, of Jersey Shore, Steven F. (Jenifer) Huling, of Lock Haven, and Michael J. (Jodi) Huling, of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Jillian, Ben, Melissa (Tyler), Ryan, Jacob (Trishia), Eric and Logan; and a great-granddaughter, Addison.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Welker Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeffrey Howell will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Oval Cemetery.
