WELSH — Lena May Welsh, 94, of Flemington, died Sept. 1, 2024. A funeral service will be held today at 10 a.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lock Haven.

RANIO — Theodore J. “Ted” Ranio, 88, of Bellefonte, died Aug. 30, 2024. Family and friends will be received today from 10-11 a.m., followed by the memorial service beginning at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, 539 Jacksonville Road, Bellefonte. Full military honors will take place following the memorial service at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

WATSON – Mary Watson, 78, of Bellefonte, died July 22, 2024. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m., at the Trinity Reformed Church of Hublersburg LLC, 355 Hublersburg Road, Bellefonte.

WATKINS — David “Pops” Watkins, Jr., 80, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 31, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral chapel.

STRAUB — Richard L. Straub, 94, of Castanea, died Aug. 27, 2024. A memorial service will be held at the Flemington United Methodist Church, 225 High Street, at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13.

DALY — Dr. Francis T. “Frank” Daly, Jr., of Faxon, Loyalsock Township, died Sept. 1, 2024. Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m., at Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. 3rd St., Williamsport. A memorial service will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home.

AMOS — Matthew Coleman Amos, Jr., 2 months and 29 days old, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 15, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.

MAZZOTTA — Joseph J. Mazzotta, 78, of Bellefonte, died Aug. 29, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m., at the Lock Haven Son’s of Italy, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Following the service, his family invites you to stay to share memories and one of his favorite meals.

DAY — Arlin R. “Sparky” Day, 91, died Aug. 31, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 29 to include his family and close friends.

ROYER — Charles C. “Chick” Royer died July 12, 2024. A graveside service to honor Charles’ life will be held on Oct. 4, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Swissdale Cemetery.

THORSTEN — Donna Marie Thorsten (Shank), 77, of Missouri City, Texas, died Aug. 22, 2024. A small memorial service will be arranged near Renovo, with close family and friends in late November.
