RAINEY -- Harry Donald :"Bub" Rainey, Sr., 88, died Sept. 13, 2024. A visitation will be held today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. He will be laid to rest in the Waterville Cemetery.
TROY -- Thomas R. Troy, Sr., 84, formerly of Jersey Shore, died Sept. 11, 2024. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today at Helt Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.
RAUB -- Kenneth G. Raub, Sr., of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Renovo, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024. A viewing will take place today, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, followed by a funeral at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in North Bend Cemetery.
VANHORN -- James Arthur VanHorn, 84, of Lock Haven, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with Pastor Jack Hocker officiating.
MYERS -- Malcolm P. Myers, Sr., 94, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.
WINDLE -- Maryann Nonemaker Windle, 83, died May 16, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Jersey Mills Baptist Church beginning at 11 a.m. Please wear blue.
ORNDORF -- Helen W. Orndorf, of Greenville, Del., died Sept. 4, 2024. A graveside memorial service will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m.
MAZZOTTA -- Joseph J. Mazzotta, 78, of Bellefonte, died Aug. 29, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m., at the Lock Haven Son's of Italy, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven. Following the service, his family invites you to stay to share memories and one of his favorite meals.
DAY -- Arlin R. "Sparky" Day, 91, died Aug. 31, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 29 to include his family and close friends.
ROYER -- Charles C. "Chick" Royer died July 12, 2024. A graveside service to honor Charles' life will be held on Oct. 4, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Swissdale Cemetery.
HEICHEL -- Joel F. Heichel, 60, of Jacksonville, Fla., and formerly of Blanchard, Pa., died June 9, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Oct. 5 from 3-6 p.m. at the home of Trudy Duck, 19 N. Chestnut St., Mill Hall. Friends, family and all who knew Joel are invited to join in sharing stories, remembering his impact and finding comfort in each other’s company.
THORSTEN -- Donna Marie Thorsten (Shank), 77, of Missouri City, Texas, died Aug. 22, 2024. A small memorial service will be arranged near Renovo, with close family and friends in late November.
