He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lock Haven. He was a member of the former Hand-In-Hand Fire Company of Lock Haven for over 50 years.

Joe had a passion for hunting and loved spending time at the Rich Camp in his earlier years. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, listening to music and reading. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and valued upholding Italian traditions, especially making his delicious spaghetti sauce and meatballs.

Joe’s longtime appreciation for English History was celebrated with a trip to England, which was one of his fondest memories. Most of all, Joe cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was affectionately referred to as “Poppy” by all of his family.
