FREY -- Kenneth L. "Kenny" Frey, Sr., 85, of Linden, died Nov. 15, 2024. The funeral service will be held today at noon at Pine Creek Valley Christian Church, 26 Locomo Lane, Jersey Shore. Family and friends are invited to attend a public viewing beginning at 10 a.m. until noon at the church. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
HELTMAN -- Samuel W. Heltman, 84, of Loganton, died Nov. 16, 2024. A viewing will be held today from 10-11 a.m. followed by the funeral service that begins at 11 a.m. at the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton. Private interment will be held at the family's convenience.
SCHON -- Melva A. Schon, 82, of Jersey Shore, and formerly of Cogan Station, died Nov. 16, 2024. Funeral services to honor Melva's life will be held today at 11 a.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, Pa. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cogan Station. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
WALKER -- Dorothy K. Walker, 89, of Loganton, died Nov. 12, 2024. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Interment will follow at Rosecrans Cemetery, Loganton, Pa.
REEDER -- Shane Reeder, of Washington, D.C., died Oct. 29, 2024. A service in Celebration of and in Thanksgiving for the Life of Shane Reeder will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Washington National Cathedral, in Washington, D.C. All are welcome.
THORSTEN -- Donna Marie (Shank) Thorsten, 77, of Missouri City, Texas, died Aug. 22, 2024. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m., at the small chapel at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hyner.
HOUSEKNECHT -- Lee Ann Houseknecht, 61, of Howard, died Nov. 4, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
LONG -- Robert P. "Bob" Long, 53, of Howard, died Sept. 8, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date..
DUTTON -- Katherine Dutton, 74, of Woolrich, died Sept. 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
BRESSLER -- James A. Bressler, 52, of Spring Mills, died Nov. 10, 2024. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
MITCHELL -- Garrett Cochran Mitchell, Jr., 102, of State College, and formerly of Lock Haven, died Nov. 14, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Village at Penn State Community Room at a later date that will be announced.
