Kerry E. Stover, 77, of Flemington, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
Born Jan. 11, 1947, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Earl and Beatrice Keen Stover.
Kerry was a 1964 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a Veteran of the United States Navy.
On June 20, 1967, he married the former Constance L. "Connie" Bartges, who preceded him in death on Dec. 19, 2013, after 46 years of marriage.
Kerry was employed at the former Corning Glass Works of State College until his retirement in 2002. As someone who enjoyed staying busy, Kerry then went to work for the Central Pennsylvania Auto Auction and as the Course Starter at Belles Springs Golf Course.
He was a member of the Flemington First Church of Christ and the Lock Haven Masonic Lodge.
Kerry enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing and hunting, and was an avid bowler. He enjoyed sharing his passion for outdoor activities with his son and grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Kerry W. (Vicki) Stover, of Flemington; two grandchildren, Hunter A. and Kara E. Stover, of Lock Haven; a great-granddaughter, Hazel Stover; and his companion, Trudy Fravel, of Flemington.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall, Pa., with Rev. Mark Riley officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Monday from 5 p.m. until the start of the service.
Private burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be received to assist in funding a future project at the starting tee box at Belles Springs Golf Course. Contributions may be made payable to Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
