Melva A. Schon, 82, of Jersey Shore, and formerly of Cogan Station, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, with family by her side.
Funeral services to honor the life of Melva will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Cogan Station. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Melva's name to the Susquehanna Health Foundation, c/o Home Care and Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701; Quiggleville United Methodist Church, 2055 State Route 973 W., Cogan Station, PA 17728; or the Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company, 615 East Route 973 Highway, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
