BAIR -- Vera Louise (Moyer) Bair, formerly of Rebersburg, died Nov. 22, 2024. Family and friends will be received today from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Miles Township firehall in Rebersburg. The Celebration of Life service will follow.
ROONEY -- Patricia "Patty" Marie Rooney, 78, of Jersey Shore, died Nov. 26, 2024. A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home in Jersey Shore.
SWEELEY -- Zetta Y. Sweeley, 87, of Mill Hall, died Nov. 28, 2024. A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m.
BEST -- Sharon L. Best, 80, of Lock Haven, died Nov. 22, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the family's convenience.
MITCHELL -- Garrett Cochran Mitchell, Jr., 102, of State College, and formerly of Lock Haven, died Nov. 14, 2024. Memorial service and Celebration of Life for Garrett (Mitch) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., in the community room at the Village at Penn State. A welcoming visitation with family and friends will begin at 1 p.m., and a time for fellowship and refreshments following the service. We look forward to seeing you and sharing stories about Mitch. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, Pa.
DUTTON -- Katherine Dutton, 74, of Woolrich, died Sept. 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
