DAY -- Donald E. "Don" Day, 90, of Howard, died Dec. 4, 2024. Visitation will be held today, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m. until noon at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc., Milesburg. A funeral service will begin at noon. Burial will be private in Schenck's Cemetery, rural Howard.
BEST -- Sharon L. Best, 80, of Lock Haven, died Nov. 22, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the family's convenience.
MITCHELL -- Garrett Cochran Mitchell, Jr., 102, of State College, and formerly of Lock Haven, died Nov. 14, 2024. Memorial service and Celebration of Life for Garrett (Mitch) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., in the community room at the Village at Penn State. A welcoming visitation with family and friends will begin at 1 p.m., and a time for fellowship and refreshments following the service. We look forward to seeing you and sharing stories about Mitch. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, Pa.
