KITCHEN -- Martha Jane Kitchen, 89, of Blanchard, died Dec. 16, 2024. A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Pa. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Blanchard, Pa.
ALLEN - Ronald L. "Ron" Allen, 75, of Wellsboro, formerly of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 13, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Family and friends will be received at a public viewing from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Woodward Township Cemetery in Linden, Pa.
BEST -- Sharon L. Best, 80, of Lock Haven, died Nov. 22, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery at the family's convenience.
GUTHRIE -- Douglas W. Guthrie, 70, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 10, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m., in the Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
SHADLE -- Audrey L. (Merryman) Shadle, 78, of McElhattan, died on Dec. 12, 2024. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Audrey's life and legacy on Sunday, Dec. 22, from 1-5 p.m., at Wayne Township Fire Co., 317 Linnwood Dr., McElhattan, Pa. The family asks for casual dress, bring a covered dish and to share memories.
MITCHELL -- Garrett Cochran Mitchell, Jr., 102, of State College, and formerly of Lock Haven, died Nov. 14, 2024. Memorial service and Celebration of Life for Garrett (Mitch) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., in the community room at the Village at Penn State. A welcoming visitation with family and friends will begin at 1 p.m., with a time for fellowship and refreshments following the service. We look forward to seeing you and sharing stories about Mitch. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, Pa.
SWEITZER -- Harry J. Sweitzer, 83, died Nov. 2, 2024. A graveside interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, followed by a Celebration of Harry's Life at Haywood's in Mill Hall from 1-4 p.m.
LINDSAY -- David Allen "Papa" Lindsay, MD, 77, died Dec. 4, 2024. A memorial mass will be held on Jan. 20, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Holy Spirit Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, Pa.
MORGAN -- Thomas J. Morgan, 42, of Renovo, died Dec. 11, 2024. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will take place at a later date.
