ARMSTRONG -- Carol H. Armstrong, 81, of Nippenose Valley, Pa., died Dec. 19, 2024. A viewing will be held today from 5-7 p.m. at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. The funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., at Messiah Lutheran Church, 324 S. Howard St., South Williamsport. A luncheon will be served after the burial at Nippenose Valley Village.
ENGEL -- Jeffrey S. Engel, 63, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 22, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, from 4-8 p.m., at Crossroads Church, 1454 PA-44, Jersey Shore, Pa. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 9:30 a.m.. at Crossroads Church. He will be laid to rest in Jersey Shore Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
MANSELL -- Gerald R. "Jerry" Mansell, 89, of Belleville, and formerly of Yarnell, died Dec. 21, 2024. A viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, from 6-8 p.m., at Big Valley Brethren in Christ Church, 81 Wagner St., Belleville, Pa. A second viewing will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, from 10-11 a.m. at Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church, 417 Summit Hill Road, Howard, Pa., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
MITCHELL -- Garrett Cochran Mitchell, Jr., 102, of State College, and formerly of Lock Haven, died Nov. 14, 2024. Memorial service and Celebration of Life for Garrett (Mitch) will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., in the community room at the Village at Penn State. A welcoming visitation with family and friends will begin at 1 p.m., with a time for fellowship and refreshments following the service. We look forward to seeing you and sharing stories about Mitch. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Williamsport, Pa.
WEIMER -- Ona Ruth Weimer, 95, formerly of Woolrich, died Dec. 15, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec, 28, at 11 a.m., at Great Island Presbyterian Church, 12 W. Water St., Lock Haven.
SWEITZER -- Harry J. Sweitzer, 83, died Nov. 2, 2024. A graveside interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall, followed by a Celebration of Harry's Life at Haywood's in Mill Hall from 1-4 p.m.
LINDSAY -- David Allen "Papa" Lindsay, MD, 77, died Dec. 4, 2024. A memorial mass will be held on Jan. 20, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Holy Spirit Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, PA.
TRAPP - Donna Lucille Trapp (Lansberry/Moon), 79, passed away on Dec. 16, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, from 12-4 p.m., at Bella Pasta, 2500 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY.
