Patricia "Patty" Marie Rooney, 78, of Jersey Shore, died Nov. 26, 2024.
Born Aug. 14, 1946, Patty was the daughter of Harry E. and Marie A. (Wolf) Kane. She was married on June 13, 1964, to the late Michael T. Rooney, Sr.
Patty found joy in life's simple pleasures, always making time for the people and activities that mattered most to her.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Cindy) Rooney, Jr.; three daughters, Melissa Rooney, Joanna (Mike) Tesareski and Andrea Gharet; a brother, John (Sarah) Kane; a sister, Barbara (Edward Balon) Kane; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Dec. 7, 2024, at 11 a.m., at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home in Jersey Shore.
