Robert M. Shady, 95, of Howard passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024.
Born on Nov. 3, 1929, in Monument, Pa., Robert was the son of the late Ray and Marguerite (Kelly) Shady. In 1968 he married his loving wife Shirley Lovette who preceded him in death.
Robert enjoyed the outdoors whether he was hunting and fishing or just admiring nature. He was also very involved with his community through the Lions Club and was the past president for many years.
Robert is survived by his one son, Robert Shady and his spouse Tammy; two daughters, Pam Braucht and Patty Barrett, as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Robert was preceded in death by all of his siblings, Richard, George, Kenneth, Esther, Ellen and Jeanette.
Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W Main St, Howard, PA 16841.
