ALAN FYE

Alan Dean Fye, 76, formerly of Beech Creek, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024.

He was born on April 8, 1948 in Lock Haven to the late Charles and Myra (Gardner) Fye. He married Judy (Daniels) Fye on Sept. 28, 1968.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons, Scott Fye, and his wife, Heather (Hoy) Fye, of Mill Hall, Brad Fye, of Springfield, N.J., and Eric Fye, and his fiance, Kristin Smith, of Lebanon, Pa.; grandchildren, Jordan (Sara) Fye, of Jersey Shore-Avis, Trenton (Christy) Fye, of Glen Burnie, Md., Brennen Fye (his mother, Tanya Fye), of Huntingdon, Pa., and Halle and Troy Smith, both of Lebanon, Pa.; a great-grandson, Reed Fye; sisters, Diane (Joe) Blaschak, of Severna Park, Md., and Kim (Sam) Mayes, of Doylestown, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Donna (Laubscher) Fye, of Radnor, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Fye.

Alan attended the Howard United Methodist Church. He loved hunting, fishing and hiking. He graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School, Class of 1966, and the Williamsport Community College (Penn College), Class of 1968.

He worked at Piper Aircraft in Quehanna, Pa., until its closing, Sutton Engineering in Bellefonte and JLG in McConnellsburg, Pa.

Services will be announced at a later date.
