Ann Lee Rozelle

Ann Lee Rozelle, 87, of Howard, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport.

Born on Nov. 10, 1937, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Arlington "Al" and Adelaide "Addie" (Clark) Rozelle.

She was married to her beloved husband, Kenneth Martin, who preceded her in death.

Ann was a 1955 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts from Penn State in 1959. She worked as an Actuary for an Insurance Company in Boston, Mass., for 15 years until her retirement. After retiring, she devoted her time to the Business Yankee School of Auctioning, where she ran the auction school and hall.

She is survived by her five step-children, Charlie Martin, David Martin, Paul Martin, Dori Peliquin and Marci Martin, all of Florida.

Also surviving is her sister, Sue Montovino, of Howard; a niece, Julie Simoni (Gene), of Clearfield; and a nephew, Chuck Zinsner (Mary), of Alexandria, Va.; grand nieces and nephews, Matthew Lizotte, of Johnstown, Amber Philips and Martina Philips, both of State College, Cole Shawley, of Howard, Kyle Shawley, of Clearfield, Addie, Teddy, PJ and Sally Zinsner of Alexandria, Va.; and great-grand nieces and nephews, Elleanna Lizotte, of Johnstown, Ridge Walley, Harper Valentine and Grayson Valentine, all of State College, and Parker Shawley, of Howard.

Ann had a vast array of hobbies that included gardening, which could have arguably been her passion in life, both skiing and cross-country skiing -- especially enjoying ski trips to Stratton, Vt., going white water rafting, playing golf, most notably at the Nittany Country Club, and swimming in Lake Fairview. She also loved to travel, visiting several different countries throughout the years including Switzerland, Amsterdam, Holland, Ireland and Germany.

Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
