Edith J. "Edie" (Serafini) Fantaskey, 99, of Renovo, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, at Williamsport North, Bedrock Care.
Born Sept. 24, 1925 in Renovo, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine (Malone) Serafini.
Edie was married in Erie, Pa., to Fredrick "Fritz" Fantaskey in 1950. He died in 1999.
She worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and the shirt factory on 14th St.
Edie was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She loved taking walks and socializing with family and friends.
Edie was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Fantaskey and Raymond Fantaskey; three sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, with Deacon Dan Heiser officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
