Frank C. Lapriola, Sr.

Frank C. Lapriola, Sr., 93, of Lock Haven, Pa., passed away on Jan. 10, 2025, at Jersey Shore Manor Care where he had been a resident.

Frank was born in Lock Haven to Joseph and Margaret Lapriola. He was a 1948 graduate of the Lock Haven High School. Frank was married to Lila Diebert who preceded him in death in 1996. He retired from Piper Aircraft after many years of service and enjoyed playing softball in his early years. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy where he received several awards having served as a District Trustee and State Trustee.

Frank is survived by his son, Frank Jr., of Vero Beach, Fla., (Helen Villeneuve) Lapriola; a daughter-in-law, Amy Lapriola; a sister-in-law, Peg Lapriola; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy; two sisters, Philomena Leone and Josephine Salvatori; and five brothers, Paschal, Angelo, Anthony, Vito and Michael Lapriola.

Memorial service will be held at Gedon Funeral Homes, 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at 11 a.m. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Deacon Chip Young of the Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will be in the St. Agnes Cemetery
