Marion McCombs, 91, of Lamar, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center with her family by her side.
Born on Aug. 31, 1933, in Hublersburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Fisher) Lannen. On Sept. 4, 1953 she married her loving husband Gilbert McCombs who also preceded her in death.
Marion enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, gardening, camping and riding motorcycles. She was a member of the Sugar Valley Indian Scouts Camp Club, the Bald Eagle Motorcycle Club and the St. Mark's Lutheran Church where she was a member of Christians with Rhythm.
Marion is survived by her son, Kevin McCombs; daughter, Karen Etters (Llyod); grandson Justin Etters and great grandchild Berkley Etters.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by siblings Harry Lannen, Hazel Ertel and Beatrice Webber.
Family and friends will be invited for a time of visitation from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W Main St. Howard, PA 16841. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 3 p.m.
