Samuel L. Brungard
Samuel L. Brungard, 82, of Mill Hall, passed away Jan. 8, 2025 at the Gate House Hospice in Williamsport.
He was born Oct. 30, 1942 in Lock Haven, and was the son of the late George W. and June Miller Brungard.
Sam was a 1962 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and enlisted with the U.S. Army serving from 1964 to 1968.
He retired from Cerro Metal as a Tool and Die Maker.
On Nov. 16, 1968, he married Linda Falls, who survives at home.
Sam enjoyed gardening, hunting, camping and going to fairs.
He was a life member of the NRA. Samuel was a member of the Rote United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; a daughter, Christie Goldsmith; and three grandchildren, Makenzey Goldsmith, Keriston Goldsmith and Samuel Goldsmith, Jr.
Funeral services for Samuel L. Brungard will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at 4 p.m., in the Gedon Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC, 320 Main St., Mill Hall. Officiating will be Lay Leader, Randy Mark.
Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted to the Rote United Methodist Church, 102 Beagle Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751.
