Donald Leroy Scott

Donald Leroy Scott, 90, of Jersey Shore, died at home, Wednesday, Feb. 5. He was born on Sept. 1, 1934 in Phillipsburg, Pa., the son of John Scott and Jenny Bevridge.

Don was a partner in Wood Chips, Inc. He owned and operated Scotty's Saw Shop, sold log homes, had a pallet factory, sawmill and dry kiln. He worked with his wife of 50 years. They historically restored the original Woolrich Woolen Mill into the Olde Mill Shop (a gift shop).

He was a dedicated family man, teaching his daughters many life skills including plenty of "don't tell your mother" adventures. He was a philanthropist, loved working hard and in his later years, mowing grass on his beloved SCAG.
