STYERS -- Forrest C. Styers, Jr., 83, of Lock Haven, died Feb. 9, 2025. A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Private burial will be at Dunnstown Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
BOVIER -- George William "Bill" Bovier, 78, of S. Highland St., Lock Haven, died Feb. 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, in the Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery at the family's convenience.
JOHNSON -- Francis (Fran) R. Johnson, 78, of Lock Haven, died Feb. 7, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, at 3 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
BROOKS -- Mary E. "Betty" (Everly) Brooks, 92, formerly of Alvira Road, Elimsport, died Feb. 10, 2025. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 9:30-11 a.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson St., Jersey Shore. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Private burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
WELSHANS -- Charles Harry Welshans, 75, of Avis, died Feb. 2, 2025. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10-11 a.m., followed by the service beginning at 11 a.m., at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, Pa.
MADDEN -- Albert James Madden, 73, died on Feb. 6, 2025. A viewing will be held at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington, on Feb. 16 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Spirit Immaculate Conception Church in Lock Haven at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, followed by a burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
