Alice A. Croak

Alice A. Croak, 95, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville. She was born on Oct. 13, 1929, in Mill Hall. She was the daughter of the late Burnard and Edna (Myers) Bartley.

Alice always had a smile on her face and would talk to everyone she knew, even strangers she had just met. She enjoyed walking outdoors, going to flea markets, thrifting and was always looking for a bargain. She also loved playing Bingo and listening to country music and collecting owls.

Alice is survived by three sons, Paul Croak, Jr. (fiance Carolyn Kelly), of Bellefonte, Bruce Croak (fiance Carmen Diaz), of York, Pa. and Richard Croak (Lisa), of Danville, Pa.; three daughters, Patricia Wolford (George), of Winburne, Pa., Cheryl Crispell (Joe), of Phillipsburg, Pa. and Deb Fasold (Tim), of Northumberland, Pa.; a sister, Mary Yocum, of Jersey Shore, as well as four grandsons; three granddaughters; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Russell Wolford and Carrie Ann Bell; and four siblings, Joanne Weaver, Burnard "Sonny" Bartley, Evelyn Barner and Esther Walters.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at a later date.
