Anne Marie (Wykoff) Prebble, 71, of Bellefonte, Pa., passed away suddenly on March 9, 2025, at Centre Care.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1953, in Renovo, Pa., to Deward 'Pat' and Carolyn (Mims) Wykoff.
Anne is survived by her children, Travis Prebble and Carolyn (Prebble) Wamboldt; grandchildren, Collin Prebble, Keegan Dean, Kamrynn Wamboldt and Kinley Wamboldt; and by siblings, Richard (Kim) Wykoff, James (Maria) Wykoff, Mark (Mary) Wykoff, Susan Wykoff and Mary Wykoff.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Prebble, Jr.; a grandson, Gareth Prebble; a sister, Patsy (Wykoff) Ransdorf; and her parents, Deward and Carolyn (Mims) Wykoff.
Anne's greatest ally in her life was her faith, finding comfort and friendship in church when she was able to attend and volunteering at the Bellefonte Faith Centre. She was heavily engaged in the early lives of her grandchildren, often reading and singing to them for hours, and was herself an avid writer. She also did not hesitate to comfort and support others at the expense of her own comfort.
A private family gathering celebrating Anne will be scheduled for a future date.
Anne's children ask that any donations honoring her be made to the Faith Centre Food Bank at 135 S. Allegheny St., Bellefonte, PA 16823.
