Patricia Y. Rayhorn, 90, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, in Florida.
Born Aug. 9, 1934, in Lock Haven, Pat was the daughter of the late Boyd and Reba Shady Yost.
She worked at Clinton Paper Company and Brown's Boot Shop, both in Lock Haven.
Pat was happily married to the late Kenneth L. Rayhorn for more than 60 years.
Pat enjoyed spending time in her yard, cooking for friends and family, shopping and going out for breakfast. She especially enjoyed time with her family at her home and pool, and she always had the kids' favorite snacks on hand. Nobody left Pat and Ken's house hungry. She also loved feeding the wildlife, particularly chipmunks and hummingbirds, and she mowed her lawn at warp speed. Pat was known for her spunkiness; though she was small in stature, she was mighty in spirit.
Survivors include nieces Sharon (Skeet) Bowman, Trish (Guy) Rinker and Toni (Jeff) Snyder; and nephews Jack (Dottie) Bailey, Lonnie (Jodie) Ishler, Ronald (Jennie) Ishler, Anthony Leone and Mark Leone (Teresa). Also surviving are great-nephews James Allison, Bradley Bailey, Zachary Ishler, Brody Ishler, Cameron Ishler, Landon (Brooke) Leone and Jonathan (April) Snyder, and great-nieces Danielle Bailey, Jamie Leone-Burrow, Tabitha Leone, Bailey (Joe) Shawley and Michelle (Jeremy) Wright, in addition to several great-great nieces and nephews.
Throughout her lifetime, Pat took great joy in teaching all of her great-nieces and great-nephews how to swim. She was very close to her three nieces; she had an especially close bond with Trish, who was named after Pat.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, a son, Steven A. Rayhorn, and five siblings, Wanda Yost, Ronald Yost, Velma Rockey, Donna Ishler and Zetta Sweeley.
