ROSEMARY KERSTETTER

Rosemary Kerstetter, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Monday, March 10, 2025, after a long battle with Dementia.

Born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Gladys (Hackman) Gephart.

She was divorced from her husband, Robert “Bob” Kerstetter, who predeceased her in 2004.

Rosemary was a 1963 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. She worked at H.R.I. for over 30 years and was able to retire to her Bed & Breakfast in Spring Mills.

She is survived by her children, Robin Capparelle (Frank), Lorinda Brown (Brett), both of Bellefonte, and Jennifer Wilson (Thomas) of Howard; 10 grandchildren, Toni, Josie (Wes), Colby (Whitney), Landon, Taylor, Frankie, Brianna, Hailey and Adelyn; two great-grandchildren, Brantley and Camden; and her beloved furry companion, Rosie, who was never far from her side!

Also surviving are her sisters, Donna Weber, of Millheim, and Martha Dinges, of Coburn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Ed Weber and Max Dinges.

Rosemary looked forward to going to the Grange Fair each year. She loved horses, trail riding and family workdays on the farm. She would have rather been at the farm instead of nearly anywhere else.

She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren! Rosemary was truly the light of her family, able to calm any situation. She was famous for always saying “it will all be okay” and to no one’s surprise, it usually was always okay!

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the farm, 3763 Brush Valley Road, Spring Mills, Pa.

Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
