Wanda Renee Snook

Wanda Renee Snook, 60, formerly of Lock Haven, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver, Pa.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1964 in Lock Haven to Paul and Joanna (Considine) Nyman.

She attended Bald Eagle Nittany High School and graduated in 1982.

In July 1986, she married Wayde Snook, Sr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2019.

She worked as a farmer and also helped her husband in hauling cattle for Snook’s Hauling, the business they had together.

She belonged to Dusty Boots Riding Club and loved going camping, trail riding and just being around animals. She enjoyed going to the fair and showing horses.

Wanda is survived by her two sons, Wayde (Brytanni) Snook, Jr. and Kevin (Morgan) Snook; a daughter, Angela Snook (Devin Page); seven grandchildren, Vera, Raina, Devin, Jr., Wayde, III, Westin, Maverick and Gemma; four sisters, Bonnie (Steve) Weaver, Paula (Terry) Burnell, Denise Shearer and her twin, Wendy (Danny) Nihart; and two brothers, Gary (Tammy) Nyman and Randy Nyman.

She was preceded in death by her Mom, Joanna Nyman; her father, Paul Nyman; and a grandson, Elliott Page.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5-6 p.m., at the Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, Pa.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family and burial will take place at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
