CARNES — Patrick R. Carnes, 78, of Renovo, died April 14, 2025. The funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. A viewing will be held one-hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Loyalsock Twp., Montoursville.

SWEELEY — Jane L. Sweeley, 81, of Rauchtown, and a former Mill Hall resident, died April 16, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m., at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

PACKER — Michael E. Packer, 74, of Lock Haven, died April 15, 2025. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 25, from 5-7 p.m., at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Pa. Private burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven. A Celebration of Life reception for Mike will be announced at a later time.

RAINEY — Delores C. Rainey, 80, died Jan. 17, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 26 at Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, 220 High St., Jersey Shore, Pa.

FRANKLIN — Kristina Adele Franklin, 53, of Lock Haven, died Nov. 18, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 1 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Church, Tamarack Mountain, Pa. Those planning to attend are asked to bring their favorite memory or story to share.

ENGLISH — Susan C. English, 73, formerly of Lock Haven, died on Dec. 15, 2024. A memorial service to honor Susan’s life will be held at Gedon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC, 121 West Main St., Lock Haven, on Saturday, May 3, at 12 p.m. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m.

GEISEWITE — Evan Daniel Geisewite, 29, died April 9, 2025, in a car accident. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, Pa.

KERSTETTER — Rosemary Kerstetter, 79, of Bellefonte, died March 10, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the farm, 3763 Brush Valley Road, Spring Mills, Pa. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

WILSON — June R. (Bierly) Wilson, 98, died Feb. 26, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 17, at 2 p.m., at the Centre Hall Lions Club, 153 E. Church St., Centre Hall, Pa. A private inurnment will be held earlier that day for the immediate family.

BATSCHELET — Lucresia A. Batschelet, 85, of Lock Haven, died March 9, 2025. A memorial service will be held on June 7, at 11 a.m., at the Dunnstown United Methodist Church, 59 Church St., Lock Haven. Family and friends are invited to join in a time of fellowship and refreshment immediately following the service.

BRININGER — Connie A. (Coder) Brininger, 74, of Snydertown, died Jan. 22, 2025. Her husband, James Brininger, 75, died on March 5, 2025. A Life Celebration for both Connie and James will be held at the Nittany Valley Fire Hall, 5101 Nittany Valley Dr., Lamar, on June 28, 2025, starting at 3 p.m.

STOCUM — Quentin Stocum died Feb. 5, 2025. A tentative date for a Celebration of Life and garden party in Salona is set for Sunday afternoon, June 29.

NOVOSEL — Lois Novosel died on Feb. 22, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held in the fall with inurnment at Jacksonville Cemetery, Bellefonte.

FASANO — Mary Madeline Bryan Fasano died on Feb. 16, 2025. Her interment is at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church Cemetery, Wilmington, Del.
