Mary Madeline Bryan Fasano

Mary Madeline Bryan Fasano, 100, of Greenville, Del., died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2025, at her home at Stonegates Retirement Community.

Mary was born in Mill Hall, Pa., in 1924, the youngest of four children of Charles T. and Mary Edith Copenhaver Bryan.

She was a 1942 graduate of Mill Hall High School. She graduated from Notre Dame College of Maryland in 1950.

While in college, she married Vincent Fasano. Vincent's career took the family to Ponca City, Okla., and Houston, Texas, where she worked at the Medical Clinic of Houston.

In 1988, Mary and Vincent moved back to their hometown area in Central Pennsylvania. In 2000, they relocated to Chadds Ford, Pa., to be closer to their oldest daughter and family. Lastly, in 2008, they moved to the Stonegates Retirement Community.

Mary is survived by three daughters, Diane Ciarrocchi, and her husband, Chuck, of Wilmington, Del., and their seven children, Carly, Justine, CJ, III, Miranda, Mary Bryan, Avery and Samantha; Dr. Mary Beth Fasano, and her husband, Dr. Mark C. Wilson, of Iowa City, Iowa, and their children, Vincent and Elena; and Lucy Fasano, also of Iowa City, Iowa. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Clarence Paul Bryan and Richard C. Bryan; and a sister, Dorothy Bryan Peters.

Internment is at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church Cemetery, Wilmington, Del.
