Margaret Catherine ‘Peggy’ Rhine

Having lived a good 89 years, Margaret Catherine “Peggy” Rhine passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

Peggy was born on Oct. 11, 1935, to the late Albert Green and his wife, Beatrice, of Woolrich, Pa.

Married to Lewis Fredrick Rhine, who predeceased her, Peggy is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Geoff) Lundy, of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; and her son, Thomas (Mary) Rhine, of Avis, Pa. She is also survived by two stepsons, Larry (Cindy) Rhine and Lewis (Joan) Rhine; and two stepdaughters, Linda (Gary) Brown and Crystal (Richard) Quiggle.

In addition to her children and stepchildren, she leaves behind four grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A sister, Hazel (R. David) Brungard, also survives.

Peggy’s son, Kimm A. Green, predeceased her, as did her sisters, Susan Hanisak, June Howard and Jean Mann.
