Richard C. Herman

Richard C. Herman, 87, of 531 Pine Loganton Road, Loganton, Pa., passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025.

Born in Loganton on Oct. 9, 1937, he was the son of the late Theodore, Sr. and Hazel (Cashner) Herman.

He retired as a laborer from the former International Paper Co., Lock Haven, Pa.

Richard also retired from the United States Army National Guard serving for over 25 years.

He is survived by a daughter Kim Herman, of Lamar, Pa.; two sisters, Esther Grieb (Leon), of Suffield, Conn., and Tawilla Martin, of Lock Haven, Pa.; two granddaughters, Tasha Stiver and Heidi Keene (Robert); and three great grandchildren Haylee, Brantley and Isabella.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Herman, Jr.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Final Interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Woolrich, Pa. Memorials may be made in Richard’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
