Sylvia J. Irvin

Sylvia J. Irvin, 87, of Mill Hall, Pa., passed away on Aug. 13, 2025, at the Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center.

She was born in Lock Haven, Pa., to William Kramer and Elda Hendershot Kramer on Sept. 16, 1937.

She went to Bald Eagle Nittany High School and graduated in 1956.

Sylvia was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed reading, and caring for her home and especially her son, Billy.

Sylvia is survived by her son, Billy C. Irvin; and her two sisters, Connie Bliler, of Lamar, and Joan (Dave) Brungard, of Mill Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Irvin, who passed away on Jan. 3, 2021; and a brother, Ross Kramer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m., at the Blanchard Church of Christ, 161 Beach St., Blanchard, Pa. Officiating will be Pastor Russell Moldovan.

Family and friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, PA.

Flowers will be supplied by the family.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses who cared for Sylvia for many years.
