Theodore Workman
Theodore Workman, 94, of Woodward Meadows, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 at his home.
Born Oct. 20, 1930, he was a son of the late Arthur and Goldie (Merrill) Workman, Sr.
Ted graduated from Lock Haven High School.
On March 9, 1952, he married his love, Alice Rachau, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage before her passing in 2014.
Ted proudly served in the United States Army, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was employed at Clinton Paper Company and then Jersey Shore Steel until his retirement.
Ted attended Flemington First Church of Christ.
He was a life member of the 40 & 8.
Ted loved fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time at the camp he and his family built and of which he served as President, Little Eagleton Rod & Gun Club.
He also enjoyed sports, whether it be attending his family’s games or watching Penn State.
Surviving are his children, Steven (Julie) Workman, of McElhattan, and Robin (Rich) Ergott, of Woodward Meadows; a sister, Jean Rafter, of Lock Haven; a granddaughter, Michelle (Jason) Stellfox; and three great-grandchildren: Jaymison, Camdyn and Brendyn.
In addition to his parents and wife, Alice Workman, he was preceded in death by nine siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Military Honors presented by the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming Co. will follow.
