ROSE YANDELL

Rose Euphemmia Yandell, 67, of Mill Hall, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, at her home.

Born Sept. 21, 1957, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Gharet, Sr. and Beulah Shumac Gharet.

On Jan. 16, 1975, in Lock Haven, she married David A. Yandell, who survives.

Rose was employed at Susque-View Home in Lock Haven as Head of Housekeeping for many years.

Rose enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets, was an avid Bingo player and always looked forward to her trips to nearby casinos. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and especially looked forward to hosting their annual family Christmas gatherings.

In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by two sons, Steven E. (Amy) Yandell, of Lock Haven, and Kenneth A. (Carla) Yandell, of Mill Hall; six siblings, Linda (William) Moon, of Castanea, Kenneth (Christine) Gharet, Jr., Glenn (Debra) Gharet and Steven (Holly) Gharet, all of Avis, Diann Cochran, of Castanea, and Gregg Gharet, Sr., also of Avis; two grandchildren, Samuel and Amber Yandell, both of Lock Haven; a special niece, Nicole Gharet, of Avis; and many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Gharet.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Intersection of 477 and Brungard Road, Loganton, Pa.
