It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, captain and friend Vhittorio Nicholas DeCapria, “Vhito,” born Aug. 27, 2011, who entered eternal life with Jesus Christ on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025 at the age of 14, surrounded by family.

A service to celebrate Vhito’s life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 with a service beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a gathering of family and friends until 4 p.m. at the Thompson Street Football Stadium, Jersey Shore.
