BLAIR — Don G. Blair, Jr., 70, of Howard, died Oct. 10, 2025. Family and friends will be received today from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the J. K. Yearick Center, (Howard fire hall), 341 Walnut St., Howard, Pa. A memorial service will begin at noon. Burial will be private at a later date.

HAYES — Daniel Hayes, 77, of Lock Haven, died Sept. 3, 2025. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, with a luncheon immediately following.

SMITH — Gerald Hosterman Smith, formerly of Aaronsburg, died Sept. 3, 2025, at The Oaks in Pleasant Gap, Pa. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Oaks in Pleasant Gap, 200 Rachel Drive, on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2:30 p.m. Gerald will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with military honors in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.

TROSTLE — David Wayne “Dave” Trostle, 66, of Milton, died peacefully on Oct. 11, 2025. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1-2 p.m., at Community Mennonite Fellowship Church, 2985 Broadway Road, Milton, followed by a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. at the church. www.wfbrooksfuneralhome.com

BROWN — Betty F. Brown, 98, of Jersey Shore, died Oct. 14, 2025. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m., at the Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave., Avis. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park at a later date.
