Patricia L. Chappelle

Patricia L. Chappelle, 77, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025 at her home.

Born April 26, 1948 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Genevieve (Clementi) Barzona.

Pat was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.

On May 6, 1967 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, she married her love and best friend, Leroy Chappelle. Inseparable, it was a rarity to see one without the other. In addition to their love for family, they had a shared love for their Labrador Retriever, Reba. Leroy and Pat shared 55 years of marriage before his passing on Jan. 30, 2023.

Pat was employed at Woolrich, Avis, for many years before working in Environmental Services at Lock Haven University until her retirement.

Pat was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Pat’s world revolved around her family. Affectionately known as Nan by many, she enjoyed any and all time spent with her family. Whether Nan was shopping or eating out with her daughters, watching her grandbabies grow and play or swimming with her “granddog,” Quinn, she cherished every minute.

Surviving are her daughters, Joellen (Dennis) Gilbert, of Montoursville, and Michelle Rosamilia, of Mill Hall; brother, Jerry (Bev) Barzona; sisters, Delores (Art) Crissman and Fran (Ken) Dershem; grandchildren, Bret (Roxanne) Phillips, Tyler (Andrea) Phillips and Jeremy Rosamilia (Bri Brungard); and great-grandchildren: Roman, Jaxon, Ravin, Reyna and Asher Phillips. Pat also treasured the relationships she built with lifelong friends who became like family, Deborah Rosamilia, Renae (Hunter) Shoemaker and Peg Wagner.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Matthew Rosamilia and sister, Mary Considine.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven with Deacon Chip Young officiating. Private interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
