Roberta J. “Pat” Moltz

Roberta J. “Pat” Moltz, 86, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 21, 1939, in Avis, she was a daughter to the late Alfred Lupold and the former Elizabeth Fisher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Paul, George, Calvin, Robert, Pete, Raymond, Myra, Olive, Bertha, Grace, Thelma and Rachael.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James H. Moltz, Sr. They were united in marriage on Jan. 19, 1957.

Pat was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She worked at Kelco, worked as a private duty nurse and also at Manor Care for many years.

She is survived by two sons, James H., Jr. (Kathy) Moltz and Jon C. (Lynn) Moltz, both of Jersey Shore; two daughters, Debra J. Hillyard and Diane G. Moltz, both of Jersey Shore; four grandchildren; a step-grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Welker Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. www.WelkerFuneralHome.com
