Joseph R. ‘Joe’ Nolf
Joseph R. “Joe” Nolf, 61, of Bellefonte, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 12, 2025, surrounded by family. Born Oct. 18, 1964, in Brookville, Pa., he was the son of the late Richard G. Nolf and Chelcie A. (Willison) Croscutt, of Knox.
Joe was a 1983 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and excelled in football. He held positions in lawn, garden and farm equipment sales for over 30 years. Most recently, he was employed with Dotterer Equipment where he enjoyed talking with his customers and his work family.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 100 (Lock Haven), American Legion Posts 867 (Pleasant Gap) and 779 (Centre Hall) and Fleetfoot Camp. In addition, Joe enjoyed shooting darts, snowmobiling, hunting, NASCAR and local sprint car races.
He was known for his outgoing nature, sense of humor and commitment to family; a true friend to all that knew him. Joe was a family man who loved spending time and cherishing memories made with his children and his grandchildren.
Along with his mother, Joe is survived by his partner in life, Jamie A. Corman; two sons, Cody Nolf and his wife, Jen, of State College, and Kyle Nolf and his wife, Samantha, of Colyer; step-children, Chamberlyn Kelly and her husband, Ryan, of Pleasant Gap, Alexa Corman and her husband, Zack, of Ephrata, and Ethan Corman and his wife, Madison, of Philipsburg; nine grandchildren, Gavin, Sophia, Everett, Charlotte, Isabelle, Isla, Blake, Hannah and Carter; and his sister, Jodie Nolf, of Raleigh, N.C.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Barbara Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Centre Hall, followed by a funeral service at noon with Scott Strouse officiating. Interment will be at Zion Union Cemetery.
