KERSTETTER — William “Bill” Kerstetter, 91, died Dec. 12, 2025. Please join his family as they remember him and celebrate his life today at the Rote United Methodist Church, 102 Beagle Road, Mill Hall. The receiving line will begin at 2 p.m. , with a service at 4 p.m. Family and friends are all welcome.

HAUSER –Dawn M. Allen Hauser, 63, of South Williamsport, died Dec. 10, 2025. A memorial service celebrating Dawn’s life will be held today at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by the memorial service beginning at 12 p.m.

YEARICK — Earl N. “Gov” Yearick, 78, of Centre Hall, died Dec. 29, 2025. A public viewing will be held today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefone. Funeral services will be held beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Walker Township, Centre County, Pa.

COURTER — Perry C. Courter, Jr., 62, of Lock Haven, died Jan. 5, 2026. A funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Mill Hall, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

CARUSO — Martha Ann Caruso, 67, of Lock Haven, died Jan. 7, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m., at Big Woods Bible Church, 241 S. Hanna St., Lock Haven, Pa. Family and friends will be received at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

SAUERWEIN — Robert E. Sauerwein, 51, of Centre Hall, died Jan. 6, 2026. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at 11 a.m., at St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Centre Hall. Graveside following at Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.

UMSTEAD — Russell W. “Russ” Umstead, Jr., 89, of Lock Haven, died Dec. 20, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, from 10-11 a.m., at the St. John Evangelical Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, with a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at the family’s convenience.

WEAVER — Ronald J. Weaver, 82, of Bellefonte, died Dec. 4, 2025. Friends and family will be received on Jan. 17, 2026, from 10-11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Bellefonte. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11 a.m.

TARANTELLA — Alieta J. Tarantella, 73, of Renovo, died Jan. 4, 2026. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m., at the North Bend Cemetery, 207 Main St., North Bend, Pa.

BIERLY — Walter S. Bierly, 85, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 28, 2025. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

KWIATEK — Pete T. Kwiatek, 74, of Green Valley, Ariz., died Dec. 19, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held in Green Valley, Ariz., at a later date.
